favorite things . Holiday Leftovers

If you’re ready to get in to the Christmas creative spirit, check out Collage Lab! I just ordered myself a pack of their “Holiday Chock Full of Paper” packs. It’s leftovers and scraps from old paper ephemera with a holiday theme — vintage papers, cards, ribbons, etc. You never know what you’ll get, but that’s such a HUGE part of the fun. I also love these packs of red, green & black letters and numbers from old graphic designers’ text kits (before the days of computers, kids). Oh the possibilities for holiday fun!

favorite things . Christmas Tags from Locals

Last week I had the chance to visit the Preview Party for the annual Holiday Bazaar in Starkville. I did the graphics for the event and it was fun to see so many great vendors from around the region at this Christmas marketplace. I didn’t go to buy. I just went to get photographs, but as I was walking out, I saw these. I couldn’t resist the lovely Christmas tags from Loopteloo, a vendor from West Point, Mississippi. I  may have to use these tags to decorate my office tree. I think my favorite (today) is the caged bird with the spot of sparkle atop her home!

Check out the local finds in your neck of the woods this Christmas. Lots of stuff to crave in your own places!
